Jack Godfrey, President

Jack Godfrey serves as President and majority owner of Greater Georgia Concrete LLC (GGC). Earlier in his professional career Jack spent six years with Ernst & Young LLP in Atlanta as a CPA with an industry specialization in construction and contract accounting and then eleven years as a Chief Financial Officer in the construction industry with both a design build firm and a prime mechanical contractor.

Jack graduated from Georgia Tech in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. He also completed a graduate degree in Accounting from Georgia State University in 1997. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (1999) and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (2005). He is a past president and former member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of the Construction Financial Managers Association. Jack currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia as their Treasurer.

Jack and his wife Tiffany have four children, Jack III, Emily, Matthew, and Allie. He and his family reside in Johns Creek, Georgia and are active members of Perimeter Church.

Josh Mandall, Vice President of Operations

Josh Mandall grew up in the Georgia concrete construction business and started his own career in concrete construction at the age of 23. As an owner and Vice President of Operations, Josh is responsible for GGC’s safety program, logistical operations, and coordinates labor assignments for all projects. In his career, he has overseen more than $100 million in contracts and has helped build a reputable and successful turnkey concrete business. Josh works closely with the site superintendents, Pre-Construction and the Executive Management team to ensure the success of all GGC projects.

While Josh isn’t working, you can find him spending time with his wife Jennifer and their three children. The kids keep them plenty busy with soccer and competition cheerleading.

Sheldon Poitra, Vice President of Construction

Sheldon Poitra, Vice President of Construction and owner, is a third generation concrete man and has over 20 years of experience in the concrete and masonry industry.  His past experience includes the successful completion of projects throughout the Southeast ranging from a few thousand dollars to $20+ million. These projects include industrial warehouses, distribution centers, medical facilities, educational institutions, including higher education and K-12 . Sheldon has a proven track record in researching market trends and forecasting, with strategic focus on pre-construction efforts.

Sheldon also has responsibility for administering the development of the pre-construction department and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation. Sheldon is skilled in estimating, pre-construction processes, client relations, business development, contract negotiations, project scheduling, project management, & quality control.

Anthony Ureno, Vice President of Hardscapes

Anthony has over 24 years of experience in the hardscape/concrete industry. Throughout his career, he’s developed a passion for hardscape work. He’s helped manage several hardscape projects that vary in size throughout the southeast and has been involved with several projects in the early phases to help bring them to fruition with design assistance. Anthony helps lead a team of project managers, estimators, and superintendents with specific pricing methods and installation practices required for this unique type of work.   In addition, Anthony helps manage key client relationships with general contractors and design professionals.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his two children out on the lake or at the pool.

Brennan Poitra, Director of Preconstruction

Brennan Poitra is Greater Georgia Concrete’s Director of Preconstruction and leads our team of preconstruction professional in the estimating process. His responsibilities include overseeing our targeted contracted backlog, development of Preconstruction staff, and the successful transition of projects to our Field Operations Team. He has worked in Preconstruction with GGC since 2013 and has been instrumental in the award of many significant projects to our team.

Brennan Poitra comes from a family of construction professionals and started off in construction field operation primarily working on K-12 projects. He lives in Cumming, GA and enjoys spending time on the lake with family and golfing.

Brian Pulley, Director of Tilt-up Construction

Brian Pulley serves as Greater Georgia Concrete’s Director of Tilt-Up Concrete.  He enjoys the quick pace and problem solving associated with tilt-up construction projects.  His background in general contracting allows him to manage with a client-oriented perspective.  His experience in organizational and large project leadership is an asset to any project team.  Brian focuses on managing key tilt-up client relationships, in addition to providing leadership to our internal team of project managers, tilt-up estimators and field resources.

Before joining Greater Georgia Concrete, LLC, Brian spent 13 years working for a general contractor with experience in the retail, industrial, municipal, hospitality and multi-family industries.

Brian and his wife Kate have two children, Dylan, and Harper.  He and his family reside in Buford, GA.  When not busy with the kids he enjoys running, playing golf, live music and cold beer. 

Kirby Yoder, Director of Industrial Business Unit

Kirby Yoder, GGC’s Director of the Industrial Business Unit, brings 40 years of versatile experience, spanning roles from concrete specialty contractor to general contractor to industrial owner’s representative, to management consultant. Thriving in complex situations involving money, manpower, and machinery, Kirby has built strong relationships while constructing a variety of structures. His diverse background, from data centers to manufacturing facilities to massive concrete structures, allows him to effectively communicate with customers and vendors, lead teams humbly and deliver successful outcomes.

Kirby and his wife Jennifer, residing in Suwanee, GA, have a growing family with four married children and two grandkids. They are active members of Perimeter Church, where Kirby serves as an Elder. Kirby enjoys sports, especially Purdue Boilermakers and Atlanta Braves. Kirby’s pure joy lies in outdoor activities like biking, golfing, hunting, and fishing—especially speeding down mountains on his gravel bike and pursuing coastal redfish and trout in the marsh grass.

Luke Gettmann, Commercial Business Unit Leader

Luke Gettmann serves as Greater Georgia Concrete’s Commercial Business Unit Leader. His goals are to optimize resources for a more efficient project delivery as well as prevent, mitigate, and manage risks in the commercial construction process. Throughout his tenure at GGC he has managed many different types of concrete projects including multifamily, healthcare, infrastructure, schools, manufacturing, and more.

Luke graduated from Georgia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Co-op designation. Before joining GGC in 2018 he gained experience in civil engineering performing transportation and traffic design, land development, and land surveying. Since he was young, Luke has had a passion for helping create and build.

Luke and his wife Lindsay have two young children, Levi and Lula. He and his family reside in Sugar Hill, Georgia and are active members of Gwinnett Church. Luke enjoys time with his family, weightlifting, automotive work, and woodworking.

Tonya Davell, Controller

As Controller for Greater Georgia Concrete, LLC, Tonya Davell conducts a wide array of administrative activities and is responsible for keeping a busy construction office running smoothly while maintaining excellent audit trails for all operations. Tonya’s duties include full cycle accounts receivable and payable, cash management, monthly financial reporting, payroll, project management support, and numerous other tasks. Tonya reports directly to the President of Greater Georgia Concrete, LLC and maintains a close working relationship with the entire executive management team.

Before joining Greater Georgia Concrete, LLC, Tonya spent 14 years in the multi-family industry. Her experience and challenges in property management has proved to have prepared her well for her current role.

When Tonya is not working, she and her husband Jon stay busy with their three children, Andrew, Aidan, and Nathan. They reside in Auburn, GA and are active members of Christian Family Fellowship Ministries.

Marcus Scott, CSP, Safety Director

Marcus Scott serves as the Safety Director for Greater Georgia Concrete LLC where he helps develop, direct, and manage the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures. Marcus and his Safety Coordinators ensure that our corporate office and project sites are in compliance with OSHA, State, Local, and Industry regulations.

Marcus is a graduate from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and is a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees. Marcus began his safety career in 2001 with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, as a Division Safety Officer. Marcus is a Professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and holds five certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, including CSP, SMS, ASP, STS-C, CIT.

Marcus and his wife Carolyn have one child and he enjoys playing golf, traveling and drone piloting with his son.
